Submissions:
Written works submitted to The Writers Bloc should be sent to the following address: writersbloc@hawkstreamradio.org . Submissions are open to anyone with a story to tell, whether it be through fiction, nonfiction, music or art.
For written works any genre is acceptable everything from short stories and poetry to editorials and novel excerpts. Fiction or nonfiction. Submissions should typically be between 5-30 minutes for fiction and nonfiction. There is no minimum for poetry. Also submissions of dramas and plays are also welcome. The Writers Bloc would like to create a radio drama feature in a future episodes.
For musical works submissions can be in the form lyrics or instrumental pieces. However if it is instrumental it has to be your own composition.
For artistic works the submissions must have a story behind the artwork. For example, if it has any relevance to an issue or events in your life.

Accepted Work:
Authors of accepted admissions will be emailed by the following Friday. A recording time will then be set up to record the reading. Authors should bring a hard copy of their accepted submission to the meeting.
